This building was there from the very beginning. It was born from the soil, sun and wind. Our purpose was to preserve its zen and represent it in the physical dimension.
We wanted to preserve the view starting from the entrance. We could do that by breaking it and expanding. First what your eye catches is the nature seen through the glass inserts at the front door. Gradually nature becomes closer and shows you the fireplace. The house gives a hug and makes the Cosmos Owner fall in love with it.
Imagine you have an incredible view from every window. You come outside and feel like a Howard Roark. We wanted to keep that feeling of freedom and at the same time provide our Cosmos Owner with warmness.
This is how the terrace with the fireplace was created. You can easily escape from the routine and find a new sense. Crackling firewood, wind noise and view of the foggy mountains. It feels like a paradise for the Protagonist.
The interior of the building is divided into day and night, areas for sleep and activities. The right wing of the house is a bedroom and the left one is the lounge with the dining and fireplace. Both of the sides have large corner windows. Thus the Cosmos Client will have the opportunity to enjoy the sunrises and sunsets from the very heart of the house.
The interior of the house is full of traditional Hutsul elements. The place looks natural and organic, so it asks for some experiments: heavy doors with glass, ceramic tiles with Kosiv paintings, trembitas instead of lamps in the kitchen. These materials and things tell their special story and have a deep sense.
