If the house is an island of comfort, then the dining table is its heart.
And this is without any exaggeration. Its diameter is 1200 cm. This was one of the key wishes of our Cosmos Clients: a table that can comfortably seat six people. Therefore, we used one life hack while designing it: first we placed the table in the center of the room, and then we built walls around it.
The house fits the environment.
The facade is in saturated dark colors. Rebate, restored board, stone. A winding path leads to the river. Here is a completely different world, where everything comes to life and becomes as easy and feasible as in childhood.
From the very beginning, we had a clear tech spec and even ready-made planning from the Clients. But even when the project seems simple, we know for sure that we can’t lower the bar.
Our main challenge was to think about the maximum possible accommodation of six people in 120 square meters and actually create two houses[with separate bedrooms and bathrooms] under one roof.
It has a direct access to the river, a pre-designed children’s playground using old authentic planks and small fences made of local stone to hide this house.

(UA) Якщо дім — це острів затишку, то обідній стіл — то його серце. І це без перебільшення. Його діаметр — 1200 см. Таким було одне із ключових побажань наших Космічних Замовників: стіл, за яким може комфортно розміститись шість персон. Тому при проектуванні ми використали один лайфхак: спочатку розміщували стіл у центрі приміщення, а вже тоді навколо нього будували стіни.
